New Website and X (Twitter) Account Improves Access to Program Information and Services

The Illinois Air Team unveiled a new and improved vehicle emissions testing website today, January 16, 2025. The website, www.illinoisairteam.net, features a new, modern design, improved search capabilities, and streamlined navigation to help motorists to find program information and access services. This includes a new Search function; options to view the website in multiple languages other than English, including Spanish, Polish, and Chinese; and an accessibility widget to aid people with vision or hearing problems to more easily view information on the site.

In addition, the IllinoisAirTeam has launched a new X (Twitter) site so program information can be provided on Social Media as well as the website. The account, X.com/IllinoisAirTeam will provide daily updates on program events, station openings, testing options, and other operating information of interest to motorists.

Over the next few months, the Website and X (Twitter) will be adding features and providing information on new testing options across the Chicagoland and Metro East areas.
